Waters Blood is a paranormal work of fiction by Elaine Calloway. I really love paranormal type books, and this is definitely that. it is a bit different from the usual werewolves and vampires book that have become really popular lately, so already this sets itself apart in that way. It uses really unique types of paranormal beings. It is about elementals, who protect humans from fallen angels that steal their souls. This kept me interested throughout the whole book, and it was an easy read for me. Demyly Heat resistant BBQ & Cooking gloves, Silicine tongs, Silicone spatila, and Meat Claws

I want to start this blog post by talking about how much I like this whole set. My husband and I live in a second story apartment so we don't get to grill that often, but this has still made a great addition to my kitchen. The set includes a set of silicone cooking gloves, a set of silicone tongs, a silicone spatula, and a set of meat claws for shredding meats.

I already have several sets of silicone cooking gloves and I love them all, they really do a great job of protecting your hands from the heat and you still have the dexterity of your fingers. I will never go back to traditional cloth potholders ever again. They just don't block the heat that well, and they make it hard to grasp things so it's easier to drop things and make messes.
The silicone tongs are wonderful as well, they make it easier to grip the food so you do not drop it, and it also protects your nonstick pots and pans from scratches, which keeps them nonstick. This silicone spatula does the same, it protects your nonstick cookware from scratches in the bottom of the pan.
Lastly I want to talk about the meat claws! I have wanted a pair of these for so long! I like to make pulled pork and pulled chicken in the slow cooker and this has made it so much easier! No more pulling it out of the slow cooker to pull it a part with forks (which takes forever)! I can just take the claws and start ripping the meat apart right in the crock pot!

Dancing Pet Natural Eye Tear Stain Remover

My dog, Marlowe is just a cute little guy, but he has these tear stains on his eyes that I just can't seem to get rid of. I can get rid of the crusty junk around his eyes but not the stains. This is Marlowe for those of you that do not know him:

I tried to take some other pictures so that you could see the tear stains before I used the Dancing Pet Natural Eye Tear Stain Remover and then I could do some after pictures as well. I got some after a while, but they are not great because he was afraid I was going to give him a bath.

Even after the first use you can see the difference, but it really looks great after several uses. The directions say to apply a capful of solution to a clean towel or cotton swab and to rub the stained area for a few minutes. You are supposed to use it daily until the stains are gone, and then use once weekly to maintain a tear stain free face. Chef Rimer Cooking Thermometer

How many have you have ever over cooked a steak, or under cooked chicken or pork? I have and it is quite frustrating, especially when you do have a thermometer. The thermometer I have been using is crappy, this is what it looks like :

It is terrible. It never gives me the right temperature (I know his because since I have gotten my new digital thermometer, I have checked temperatures with both, and this one is wrong!) and it can be a real pain to read. I now have this Chef Rimer Cooking Thermometer, which is a digital read thermometer, so it it a thousand times easier to read and oh so accurate. This is what is looks like :

It has an easy on and off button and you can change it between Fahrenheit and Celsius with an easy push of a button. The buttons are clearly marked so you do not get them confused. It also comes with a little sheath that you can hook onto your shirt or pocket like if you have a pocket on your apron like I do. Gurin DHMD-210 Electric Compact Dehumidifier

It seems no matter how long I leave my fan on in the bathroom after I get out of the shower, it just does not do enough to get all of the moisture out of the air in there, which leads to mold and mildew. I wanted to do something about that so I have decided to give the Gurin DHMD-210 Electric Compact Dehumidifier a try. So far it has been great. I can tell it is working just a few minutes after I get out of the shower, you can see all of the water it has sucked up. I really do NOT miss the mildew smell that had been hanging around in there.

It is compact, it does not take up a lot of room, which is fantastic since out bathroom is not very big to begin with. This dehumidifier is also really quiet, so I just leave it on all day, every day, because you do not even know it is on. I was afraid it would be loud and obnoxious but it just hums along quietly all day long. Something important to add, if you do not empty the water tray, it won't work, so if you decide to give this a shot, make sure you check the water tray ad empty it if it is looking full. As you all know from a precious blog entry I have been taking Garninia Cambogia extract supplements, this is the second kind I have tried and they are pretty great as well. This one has 85% HCA and I have not noticed a difference between this one and the 95% one. So 85% should be just as good.

The instruction say to take 2 capsules once a day, or for maximum strength take 2 twice a day, thirty minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water, I however am sticking to the same wayI was taking the others, three times a day before meals with 8 oz of water. It still works great, however I am not working out as much so the weight is not coming off like it was.

MY Konjac Sponge Activated Charcoal Facial Sponge

As I have mentioned before, I am trying really hard to take better care of the skin on my face. I have always stayed out of the sun, but in the past never used a good cleanser, I never moisturized, I never used a serum or anything. You have to start taking care of your skin while you are still young, and this Konjac Sponge is another step in the right direction.

Because it is so soft I think it would be really hard to over-do it and end up with raw, dry, and/or itchy skin. My husband sometimes lifts weights, which is why we decided to try out this combo. The wrist wraps offer great support for his wrists while he is lifting, and  and the wrist straps help him out once his hands and fingers get tired and transfers the weight to his wrists. I am loving this Garcinia with 95% HCA right now. It is a weight loss supplement that suppresses appetite, which is something I really need. I am always starving and I snack like crazy! Zahler's Reach Whey Protein Shake Powder

My husband and I have been trying to get in shape recently, since getting married three years ago we have become very sedentary people, and you can tell just by looking at us. You need protein to help repair your muscles after a work out, and I have been having a hard time finding one that does not make me gag. It is a texture thing.  A lot of them are very grainy and do not mix up very well. 

I do not have that issue with Zahler's Reach Whey Protein in cookies'n'cream flavor. Te texture is smooth and not at all chalky, the only thing I was not crazy about was it did not taste like cookies'n'cream, but it was still tasty.
