I recently acquired a non-stick baking mat made by Chef Clever, and it is pretty sweet. I made some chocolate chip cookies on this (and I will have to do it again so I can take pictures-they did not last long enough this time!) and they were delicious! Although, the credit for their tastiness goes to me. The mat is 16.5 inches by 11 inches and all along the edge is has marks so you can measure, as you will see in the photo. It has inches on one long side and one short side, and centimeters on one long side and one short side. It also has spots marked for you to put your cookies (or whatever you are making) so they are spaced evenly and won't run together after you start baking.
Silicone baking mats are great for many reasons. Firstly, you do not need to use any oil, so it makes things healthier right off the bat. You can also do away with parchment paper and aluminum foil which saves money. With a baking mat there will be no more scrubbing of cookie sheets and pans because you pull off the cookie sheet and wash it with a little dish soap and water and you are good to go.
